You say you want to pull back

and not attract too much attention.

But, that isn’t the voice of the real You...

isn’t the song of your Soul’s intention.

 

It’s just local talk in the head that says,

“What if I fail and have to take it on the chin?”

“Or, on the other hand, what if I succeed

beyond dreams I’ve narrowly imagined?”

 

The fearful part wonders

what might happen if you spark

a viral spread of goodness

lit by the fire of your heart.

 

Would that open the gate, too,

for those who hate

for those who feed on spite,

and berate the purest expression of life.

Will that question stop you?

 

Neither your fear nor theirs,

nor the deep well of our burdens,

is reason enough to smolder and

grow older, perplexed by the

uncertainty of our complexities.

 

It’s time to be bold and not hide

or deny what is impeccably true.

The world will ascend when Love

is woven into all we choose

to be and do.

 

Free will is generous,

allowing worry to have its say.

And, by the way,

fear offers nothing

that will ever last.

 

So, there’s no reason to waver

as you throttle past

the naysayers that appear

in the crowd

or in the space

between your ears.

 

Courage is your birthright

dear carriers of Light.

Undaunted by theatrics,

unfettered by havoc,

you rise

never to deny the call of Love

and the benevolent fire of your heart.
