the "Looking"

This “Am-ness” and “Is-ness”

is tricky business

for the mind that sees “self”

as just one thing

rather than part of the All

of everything.

We’re not just what we share,

(as in cosmic dust)

in this life of form

made from elemental stuff.

But more than that—

what comes before this and that,

is the “Seeing,”

wanting to play with being

as countless expressions

in infinite dimensions

wildly free without limits or divisions.

So...

When you wish upon a star,

you wish upon That

of which you Are.

Wherever you look

there you Are.

Not just the Looker

or that which is seen

But the Looking, in fact, we Are.
